Surveillance

at least one selected inpatient facility location for at least three months in a
calendar year.National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) , USAA NSHN HealthcareAssociated Infection (HAI) is a localized/systemic
condition resulting from an adverse reaction to the presence of an infectious agent or its
toxin. There must be no evidence that the infection was present or incubating at
