Cumulative total of 329 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Taiwan; 45 patients released from isolation

On April 1, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that that 933 additional cases related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported on March 31. As of writing, a cumulative total of 32,726 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 28,765. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 329 cases (Cases #323-329 confirmed today). Of 329 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 283 are imported and 46 are indigenous. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 5 deaths, and 45 patients have been released from isolation while the remainder remains hospitalized in isolation.
