On October 12, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that the appointment booking period on the COVID-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) will be extended to 6 p.m. on October 13 in the 11th round of bookings and that appointments for the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) vaccine in this round will also be open to people aged 44 (born between January 1 to December 31, 1977, inclusive) who registered their willingness to receive the BNT vaccine before October 6 (individuals in the ninth priority group not included), to ensure effective use of vaccine. The vaccination period for eligible individuals (including the newly eligible age group) in this round remains unchanged and will start from October 15 to October 21.
