CECC confirms 3 more imported COVID-19 cases

On April 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. A total of 376 cases have been confirmed in Taiwan as of writing. Among three imported cases, two patients are women, and one patients are men. The patients are in their 20s. These patients entered Taiwan between March 27 and March 30, and displayed symptoms between March 30 and April 4. The countries the patients had traveled to before the onset of disease include Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States. The patients went overseas mainly for study and visiting relatives. Two of the three cases were identified when the cases underwent home quarantine while the other one was identified during the home isolation period.
