內容介紹:

In 1965, Taiwan was officially issued with the WHO Certificate of Registration for malaria elimination. However, before achieving global eradication of malaria, the threat of malaria persists because of factors such as climate and environmental change, frequent international trade, travel, importation of foreign workers and new residents, and so on. Furthermore, there are mosquito vectors in some parts
of country, so the risk of malaria transmission could not be neglected.
In order to enhance the alertness of domestic clinicians to malaria, and achieve the purpose of early diagnosis and treatment, the guidelines include introduction of malaria, infectious agent and life cycle, clinical manifestations, microscopic and laboratory diagnosis, chemoprophylaxis and treatment, and other information about prevention and control. This revision is based primarily on the World Health Organization's third edition of the Malaria Treatment Guidelines and the latest information from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We hope that the professional guidelines will be a reference for the clinical treatment, and assist people in reducing the risk of malaria infection to ensure the health of compatriots away from the threat of malaria.
