COVID-19 government-funded vaccination appointment reservation system to open from 10am on August 5 to 12pm August 7 for scheduling vaccination appointments; vaccine to be administered starting August 11

On August 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) will be open from 10am on August 5 to 12pm August 7 for scheduling vaccination appointments, and that inoculation will begin from August 11 to August 17; the available brand in this round of inoculation is the Moderna vaccine. The groups of people eligible to schedule vaccination appointments are listed below.

A. Individuals in the top three priority groups and pregnant women, who have received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine and are on the 28th-day mark after their first dose before Aug 11 (inclusive);
B. People eligible to schedule a vaccination appointment for their first dose: elderly people aged 65 and older and adults in the ninth priority groups aged 55 and older, who registered their willingness to be vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine before 12pm on July 19.
