On April 28, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it has changed the number of government-funded rapid test kits offered to people placed under home isolation, effective immediately. Elementary school and secondary school students will receive two rapid test kits, while students in universities and adults will be given three test kits. They can use the test kits for the first test required during the isolation period, when symptoms occur, and before they go out for the first time during the four-day self-initiated epidemic prevention period. Students must complete the self-initiated epidemic prevention period and produce a negative rapid test result the next day before entering schools.
