Adimmune donates 1,000 doses of influenza A (H1N1) vaccine to Central Epidemic Command Center

On November 10, 2009, the 34th meeting held by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) was convened by the commander-in-chief of CECC, the Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan, Li-Luan Chu. At the meeting, it was announced that Adimmune donated 1,000 doses of influenza A (H1N1) vaccine to Central Epidemic Command Center for demonstration and promotional activities.

Since the number of classes suspended for pandemic influenza A (H1N1) has increased, the Ministry of Education has formulated policies for make-up lessons.Make-up lessons will be scheduled during the weekends, public holidays, winter and summer breaks, and after-school hours. Teachers will be compensated for make-up lessons at an hourly rate by schools or the local government and the central government if the school is short on funds

In response to the influenza A (H1N1) immunization campaign of pregnant women, pre-school children and people with major illness/injury scheduled to begin on November 16, 2009, CECC announced that a list of about 2,000 contracted hospitals administering the vaccine is available online on November 10, 2009.Targeted groups can receive immunization at the contracted hospitals upon presentation of their ID card and National Health Insurance card and no registration fees are necessary.
