On November 11, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Among those four new cases (Cases #582-585), three cases entered Taiwan from Indonesia, and one came to Taiwan from Belgium.

Cases #582, #584, and #585 are three women from Indonesia, with their ages ranging between 20 and 50 years old. The three Indonesian women traveled from Indonesia to work in Taiwan on October 28. After entry, they stayed at different group quarantine sites to undergo quarantine. They all have not developed any symptoms since arrival. Those three Indonesian women were tested for COVID-19 on November 9 before completing the quarantine period. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the cases on November 11.

Case #583 is an over 30-year-old male from Belgium. He came to Taiwan for business purposes at the invitation of a company in Taiwan. The Belgian man arrived in Taiwan on October 25, and he stayed at a quarantine hotel to undergo quarantine after entry. When entering Taiwan, the Belgian man showed no symptoms and provided a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of boarding. The Belgian man developed an abnormal sense of smell and taste on October 31. His symptoms improved the next day. He took a self-paid COVID-19 test at a designated hospital on November 10 as required by the inviting company. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on November 11.
