Starting July 20, right of employers to assign foreign workers to different work sites to be restored; employers must arrange PCR testing for foreign workers within three days before day of assignment

On July 19, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that starting July 20, the right of employers to assign foreign workers to different work sites belonging to the same employer will be restored. An assignment must be more than 60 days. Employers must arrange for foreign workers assigned to different work sites to undergo PCR testing within three days (inclusive) before the day of assignment, and foreign workers can only be assigned to different workplaces if they have a negative test result issued within the three days (inclusive) prior to being assigned; furthermore, in accordance with the Ministry of Labor regulations, prior to an assignment employers must file an application for permission or a notification for future reference.
