On April 29, 2009, the World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General in Geneva decided to raise the level of influenza pandemic alert to phase 5.After Taiwan was notified by the decision through the IHR Focal Point,Minister of Health Yeh who is in charge of the Central Epidemic Command Center for influenza A (H1N1) decided to move the second meeting to be held by the Central Epidemic Command Center on May 1, 2009 ahead by scheduling it to happen at 12:30pm on April 30, 2009.Besides inviting various government agencies to attend the meeting, Premier of Executive Yuan Liu was especially invited to conduct the meeting.
