On February 11, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 18,300 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Of the 18,300 new cases, 18,000 are domestic and 300 are imported. The CECC announced 82 deaths today.

Regarding the 18,000 new domestic cases, 8,067 are male and 9,923 are female, while the gender of the other ten cases is under investigation. They range in age from under five to above 90 years. Of those domestic cases, 3,500 were reported in New Taipei City, 2,245 in Kaohsiung City, 2,195 in Taichung City, 2,015 in Taoyuan City, 1,649 in Taipei City, 1,475 in Tainan City, 866 in Changhua County, 508 in Pingtung County, 493 in Hsinchu County, 420 in Hsinchu City, 416 in Yunlin County, 379 in Miaoli County, 376 in Yilan County, 332 in Keelung City, 262 in Nantou County, 251 in Chiayi County, 244 in Hualien County, 162 in Chiayi City, 99 in Taitung County, 76 in Penghu County, 33 in Kinmen County, and four in Lienchiang County.

Regarding the 82 deaths from domestic cases announced today, they were 53 men and 29 women ranging in age from 40 to above 90 years. They were severe cases.

Regarding the 300 imported cases, they all arrived in Taiwan between January 11 and February 9, 2023.

The CECC reported that a total of 22,002,182 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 12,209,361. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 9,791,908 cases. Of the 9,791,908 confirmed cases, 51,667 are imported; 9,740,187 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has an unknown source of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated. There have been a cumulative total of 17,046 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 17,046 deaths, 17,025 are from domestic cases and the other 21 are from imported cases.
