CECC confirms 86 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 33 domestic cases and 53 imported cases

On December 26, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 86 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 33 are domestic (27 cases of BA.5, four cases of BA.2.75, one case of BQ.1, and one case of BF.7) and the other 53 cases (20 cases of BA.5, 17 cases of BA.2.75, eight cases of BQ.1, four cases of XBB, and four cases of BF.7) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 25 imported cases of XBB, 10 imported cases of BF.7, 29 imported cases of BQ.1, 1,288 imported cases of BA.5, 104 imported cases of BA.4, 116 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,029 imported cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of three domestic cases of XBB, three domestic cases of BF.7, eight domestic cases of BQ.1, 1,501 domestic cases of BA.5, five domestic cases of BA.4, 15 domestic cases of BA.2.75, and 2,534 domestic cases of BA.2.
