CECC reports no new confirmed cases; 368 patients released from isolation

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that no additional cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were confirmed in Taiwan on May 11. The CECC also announced one new death (Case #197, a man in his 40s) on May 11. 

The CECC reported that 267 additional cases related to COVID-19 were reported on May 10. As of writing, a cumulative total of 67,400 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 66,298. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 440 cases. Of 440 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 349 are imported and 55 are indigenous while 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 7 deaths, and 368 patients have been released from isolation, with the remainder remaining hospitalized in isolation.
