CECC confirms 51 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 23 domestic cases and 28 imported cases

On February 6, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 51 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 23 are domestic (15 cases of BA.2.75, four cases of BA.5, two cases of BA.2, and two cases of BQ.1) and the other 28 cases (13 cases of BA.5, five cases of BA.2.75, five cases of BF.7, two cases of BA.2, two cases of BQ.1, and one case of XBB) are imported. As of now, for imported cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,564 cases of BA.5, 1,034 cases of BA.2, 167 cases of BA.2.75, 156 cases of BF.7, 104 cases of BA.4, 52 cases of BQ.1, and 33 cases of XBB. Furthermore, for domestic cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,614 cases of BA.5, 2,540 cases of BA.2, 107 cases of BA.2.75, 29 cases of BQ.1, 12 cases of BF.7, five cases of XBB, and five cases of BA.4.
