On February 10, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 19,629 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Of the 19,629 new cases, 19,309 are domestic and 320 are imported. The CECC announced 70 deaths today.

Regarding the 19,309 new domestic cases, 8,693 are male and 10,609 are female, while the gender of the other seven cases is under investigation. They range in age from under five to above 90 years. Of those domestic cases, 3,800 were reported in New Taipei City, 2,278 in Taichung City, 2,231 in Kaohsiung City, 2,281 in Taoyuan City, 1,614 in Tainan City, 1,777 in Taipei City, 829 in Changhua County, 641 in Hsinchu County, 546 in Pingtung County, 425 in Miaoli County, 473 in Hsinchu City, 392 in Yunlin County, 390 in Yilan County, 367 in Keelung City, 342 in Nantou County, 273 in Chiayi County, 247 in Hualien County, 132 in Taitung County, 158 in Chiayi City, 59 in Penghu County, 51 in Kinmen County, and three in Lienchiang County.

Regarding the 70 deaths from domestic cases announced today, they were 29 men and 41 women ranging in age from 40 to above 90 years. They were severe cases.

Regarding the 320 imported cases, they all arrived in Taiwan between January 10 and February 8, 2023.

The CECC reported that a total of 21,978,079 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 12,203,528. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 9,773,627 cases. Of the 9,773,627 confirmed cases, 51,436 are imported; 9,722,137 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has an unknown source of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated. There have been a cumulative total of 16,964 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 16,964 deaths, 16,943 are from domestic cases and the other 21 are from imported cases.
