COVID-19 Vaccination Reservation system open from every Wednesday to Friday for individuals aged 18 or older to schedule booster dose appointments; those eligible to get booster shots urged to schedule appointments as soon as possible

On March 8, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the COVID-19 Vaccination Reservation system ("the System") continues to remain open from 10 a.m. every Wednesday to 12 p.m. every Friday for the public to schedule booster dose appointments which will take place in the next week (from Monday to Sunday). This can provide multiple options for the public to schedule an appointment and thus, to gain protection more quickly. In the 26th round, booster shots will be given to individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks. People who are eligible to get a booster dose but haven't received one are urged to make an appointment as soon as possible. Eligible people who have booked an appointment with a healthcare facility or local health center each local government designates to give booster shots are urged to get vaccinated as scheduled, and they do not need to book another appointment on the System.

Eligibility and schedules are listed below.
A. Vaccination: from March 14 to 20, 2022.
B. Eligibility: individuals aged 18 or older (born on or before March 20, 2004) who received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 12 weeks ago, before December 26, 2021, are eligible to get a booster dose.
C. Time slots for scheduling appointments:
a. Individuals aged 55 or older: from 10 a.m. on March 9 to 12 p.m. on March 11.
b. Individuals aged 38-54: from 12 p.m. on March 9 to 12 p.m. on March 11.
c. Individuals aged 18-37: from 2 p.m. on March 9 to 12 p.m. on March 11.
