On October 13, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the online appointments for the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) vaccine, the second dose of the AstraZeneca (AZ), and the second dose of the Moderna vaccine will be open in the 12th round of bookings on the COVID-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) and that vaccination will take place in two phases. The CECC pointed out that appointment bookings will start on different days for the three vaccines, and a text message will be sent to eligible individuals starting 2 p.m. one day before they can book an appointment. Details about eligibility and related schedules are listed below.

A. First phase:

a. Eligibility: individuals who registered their willingness before 12 p.m. on October 13 and meet any of the following criteria:

1. The first dose of the BNT vaccine: people aged 30 and older (born on December 31, 1991, or earlier);
2. The second dose of the Moderna vaccine: people aged 55 and older (born on December 31, 1966, or earlier) who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine before July 16 (inclusive);
3. The second dose of the AZ vaccine: people aged 38 and older (born on December 31, 1983, or earlier) who received their first dose of the AZ vaccine before July 30 (inclusive).

b. Time slots for scheduling appointments:

1. The first dose of the BNT vaccine: from 10 a.m. on October 18 to 12 p.m. on October 20.
2. The second dose of the AZ vaccine: from 10 a.m. on October 19 to 12 p.m. on October 20.
3. The second dose of the Moderna vaccine: from 2 p.m. on October 19 to 12 p.m. on October 20.

c. Vaccination: from October 22 to October 27.

B. Second phase:

a. Eligibility: individuals who registered their willingness before 12 p.m. on October 13 and meet any of the following criteria:

1. The first dose of the BNT vaccine: people aged 23 and older (born on December 31, 1998, or earlier);
2. The second dose of the Moderna vaccine: people aged 18 and older (born on December 31, 2003, or earlier) who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine before July 16 (inclusive);
3. The second dose of the AZ vaccine:
(1) Individuals aged 18 and older (born on October 28, 2003, or earlier) who received their first dose of the AZ vaccine before July 30 (inclusive);
(2) Individuals aged 45 and older (born on December 31, 1976, or earlier) who received their first dose of the AZ vaccine between July 31 and August 6 (inclusive);

b. Time slots for scheduling appointments:

1. The first dose of the BNT vaccine and the second dose of the Modern vaccine: from 10 a.m. on October 25 to 12 p.m. on October 27.
2. The second dose of the AZ vaccine: from 10 a.m. on October 26 to 12 p.m. on October 27.

c. Vaccination: from October 28 to November 3.

1. The first dose of the BNT vaccine: from October 28 to October 31.
2. The second dose of the Moderna and AZ vaccines: from October 28 to November 3
