Four new imported cases of pandemic influenza A (H1N1) confirmed

On June 16, 2009, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four newly confirmed cases of pandemic influenza A (H1N1) in Taiwan, making the number of confirmed cases to date 55.Two of the cases were imported from Thailand and the other two were imported from the United States.CECC has reported the cases to the World Health Organization (WHO).All the four cases have been isolated for treatment.Their close contacts who have not experienced any symptoms have all been asked to conduct self-health management.
