CECC reports no new confirmed cases; 366 patients released from isolation

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that no additional cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were confirmed in Taiwan on May 10. The CECC reported that 272 additional cases related to COVID-19 were reported on May 9. As of writing, a cumulative total of 67,133 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 66,005. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 440 cases. Of 440 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 349 are imported and 55 are indigenous while 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 6 deaths, and 366 patients have been released from isolation, with the remainder remaining hospitalized in isolation.
