On November 11, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting November 11, 2021, foreign workers will be allowed to enter Taiwan under a Ministry of Labor program provided that related pandemic prevention measures should be followed. Before arrival, foreign workers must undergo PCR testing and be isolated according to the one person per room rule 72 hours prior to boarding the flight to Taiwan. After arrival, foreign workers will be quarantined at a group quarantine facility for 14 days after taking a deep-throat saliva test (for PCR testing). Before the end of the 14-day quarantine, foreign workers are required to undergo a PCR test. Foreign workers must practice a 7-day self-health management at a location designated by the Ministry of Labor after the end of quarantine.
