61 more imported cases of Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 detected at border

On June 27, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 61 new imported cases of the Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 that were detected at the border.

The CECC pointed out that, among these individuals, eight were infected with the BA.4 subvariant, and 53 were infected with BA.5; they are 40 men and 21 women ranging in age from under 10 to 69, with their dates of entry ranging from June 10-18.
