CECC confirms 201 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 93 domestic cases and 108 imported cases

On October 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 201 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 93 are domestic (74 cases of BA.5 and 19 cases of BA.2) and the other 108 cases (one case of BA.4, 87 cases of BA.5, five cases of BA.2.75, and 15 cases of BA.2) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 1,002 imported cases of BA.5, 92 imported cases of BA.4, 32 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,006 cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 632 confirmed domestic cases of BA.5, four confirmed domestic cases of BA.4, 2,501 confirmed domestic cases of BA.2, and no confirmed domestic cases of BA.2.75.
