CECC confirms 74 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 50 domestic cases and 24 imported cases

On December 19, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 74 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 50 are domestic (42 cases of BA.5, four cases of BA.2.75, one case of XBB, two cases of BQ.1, and one case of BF.7) and the other 24 cases (nine cases of BA.5, seven cases of BA.2.75, four cases of BQ.1, two cases of XBB, one case of BA.2, and one case BF.7) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 21 imported cases of XBB, six imported cases of BF.7, 21 imported cases of BQ.1, 1,268 imported cases of BA.5, 104 imported cases of BA.4, 99 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,029 imported cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of three domestic cases of XBB, two domestic cases of BF.7, seven domestic cases of BQ.1, 1,474 domestic cases of BA.5, five domestic cases of BA.4, 2,534 domestic cases of BA.2, and 11 domestic cases of BA.2.75.
