On May 4, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that the Taiwan V-Watch System for reporting health conditions following COVID-19 vaccination had included children and adolescents under 18 in its health monitoring beginning May 3. Children and adolescents in this age group can be included in the health tracing and monitoring program after their parents register their children and report their children's health status after vaccination on behalf of their children on the Line chatbot Disease Control Butler; this can enhance safety surveillance following COVID-19 vaccination among children and adolescents.
