CECC confirms 234 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 174 domestic cases and 60 imported cases

On September 12, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 234 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 174 are domestic (88 cases of BA.5 and 86 cases of BA.2) and the other 60 cases (five cases of BA.4, 50 cases of BA.5, one case of BA.2.75, and four cases of BA.2) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 86 imported cases of BA.4, 744 imported cases of BA.5, 11 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 981 cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 324 confirmed domestic cases of BA.5, four confirmed domestic cases of BA.4, 2,379 confirmed domestic cases of BA.2, and no confirmed domestic cases of BA.2.75.
