On November 12, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that a ninth batch of 1.2261 million doses of the Moderna vaccine, purchased by the CECC, departed from Atlanta, U.S.A. in the early morning of November 12 (Taipei Time) and is expected to arrive at Taoyuan International Airport in the evening today.

The shipment of the vaccine doses will be offered to individuals to be vaccinated under the national COVID-19 vaccination program after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures.
