On October 31, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that a second batch of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, containing 624,000 doses for use on children, purchased by the CECC this year arrived at Taoyuan International Airport this morning. This shipment of vaccine doses will be offered to children 6 months to four years of age for their primary series vaccination after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures.
