On January 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it has posted information on the service hours of designated hospitals that offer self-paid testing during the Lunar New Year holiday on the Ministry of Health and Welfare website at https://www.mohw.gov.tw/cp-5380-65644-1.html and the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control website at https://www.cdc.gov.tw/Category/MPage/I92jtldmxZO_oolFPzP9HQ to meet the need to obtain a negative COVID-19 test result for people planning to travel abroad or visit healthcare/care facilities or due to other reasons and to protect the testing capacity of designated hospitals during the holiday. People can also search for a nearby designated testing hospital on the official Line account of the National Health Insurance Administration; people can add the NHIA as a friend on LINE at https://line.me/R/ti/p/%40dyk0948w.

The CECC pointed out that there are 187 designated testing hospitals that will provide the self-paid testing service during Lunar New Year. People who need to take a self-paid PCR test are urged to inquire about information on testing by visiting a hospital's website or call the hospital before going to the hospital.
