CECC confirms 165 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 139 domestic cases and 26 imported cases

On October 31, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 165 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 139 are domestic (134 cases of BA.5, one case of BF.7, one case of XBB, and three cases of BA.2) and the other 26 cases (14 cases of BA.5, five cases of XBB, one case of BQ.1/BQ.1.1, five cases of BA.2.75, and one case of BA.2) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 1,200 imported cases of BA.5, six imported cases of XBB, four imported cases of BF.7, six imported cases of BQ.1/BQ.1.1, 104 imported cases of BA.4, 62 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,028 imported cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 1,013 domestic cases of BA.5, one domestic case of XBB, one domestic case of BF.7, five domestic cases of BA.4, 2,525 domestic cases of BA.2, and no domestic cases of BA.2.75 or BQ.1.1/BQ.1.1.
