On August 8, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that a fifth batch of the Moderna vaccine containing 99,600 doses was shipped from Luxembourg in the early morning of August 8 (Taipei Time) and is scheduled to arrive at Taoyuan International Airport at 15:50 this afternoon.

The shipment of 99,600 vaccine doses will be offered to individuals to be vaccinated under the national COVID-19 vaccination program after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures.
