On January 9, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 134 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 47 are domestic (26 cases of BA.5, 13 cases of BA.2.75, four cases of BF.7, three cases of BA.2, and one case of BQ.1) and the other 87 cases (51 cases of BA.5, 10 cases of BA.2.75, 21 cases of BF.7, four cases of BQ.1, one case of XBB) are imported. As of now, for imported cases, there have been a cumulative total of 28 cases of XBB, 43 cases of BF.7, 35 cases of BQ.1, 1,376 cases of BA.5, 104 cases of BA.4, 135 cases of BA.2.75, and 1,030 cases of BA.2. Furthermore, for domestic cases, there have been a cumulative total of three cases of XBB, nine cases of BF.7, 15 cases of BQ.1, 1,553 cases of BA.5, five cases of BA.4, 36 cases of BA.2.75, and 2,537 cases of BA.2.
