524,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to arrive in Taiwan this afternoon and to be given to eligible recipients after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures

On August 12, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that 524,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will arrive at Taoyuan International Airport at 15:40 today. This batch of vaccine doses will be offered to individuals to be vaccinated under the national COVID-19 vaccination program after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures.
