To learn from other countries’ experiences in rabies prevention and control and obtain expert advice, the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) and the Council of Agriculture (COA) have co-organized the International Expert Meeting – Challenges and Opportunities in the Prevention and Control of Rabies to be held at the NTUH (National Taiwan University Hospital) International Convention Center on August 30, 2013. MOHW and COA have invited rabies expert from China, France, the Philippines and the United States to share and their experiences in rabies prevention and control. In addition, about 130 domestic experts in the field of public health, medicine and agriculture have also been invited to participate in the meeting.
