On July 22, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that the interval between the first dose and second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at this phase were extended to 10-12 weeks for some groups of people on July 12, and such change was made based on international recommendations and was discussed and reviewed by the experts at a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The CECC recommendation on the interval between the two doses of the vaccine will also be adjusted on a rolling basis based on vaccine supply.
