On November 8, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The CECC announced no deaths today.

Regarding the three new imported cases, they are two men and one woman, aged between 10 to 49 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from Indonesia, Myanmar and Saint Lucia. They arrived between October 24 and November 6.

The CECC reported that a total of 4,104,940 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 4,086,462. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 16,445 cases. Of the 16,445 confirmed cases, 1,801 are imported; 14,590 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated, and a cumulative total of 111 cases have been removed from the list of confirmed cases. There have been a cumulative total of 847 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 847 deaths, 835 are from domestic cases and the other 12 are from imported cases.
