Enterovirus Infection with Severe Complications in Taiwan - Week 14

No severe case was newly confirmed in Week 14, 2016 (April 3 to April 9, 2016, Fig. 1). One case of enterovirus infection with severe complications (EVSC) has been confirmed by Taiwan CDC in 2016. This case was aged 2 years old (Table 1) and caused by EV71. Figure 2 displays the geographical distribution of this case according to the residence.
