Enterovirus Infection with Severe Complications in Taiwan - Week 15

One severe case was newly confirmed in Week 15, 2016 (April 10 to April 16, 2016, Fig. 1). Two cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications (EVSC) have been confirmed by Taiwan CDC in 2016. Both cases were aged 2 years old (Table 1) and caused by EV71. Figure 2 displays the geographical distribution of these cases according to their residence.
