Enterovirus Infection with Severe Complications in Taiwan - Week 13

April 5, 2016-- As of April 5, 2016, one case of enterovirus infection with severe complications (EVSC) has been confirmed by Taiwan CDC in 2016. This case was aged 2 years old (Table 1) and caused by EV71. Figure 1 displays the geographical distribution of this case according to the residence.

One severe case was newly confirmed in Week 13, 2016 (March 30 to April 5, 2016, Fig. 2).
