During Week 31, 2016 (July 24 to August 6, 2016, Fig. 1), no sever case due to enterovirus infection was newly confirmed. A total of 14 cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications (EVSC) have been confirmed by Taiwan CDC in 2016. The majority of cases were aged 0-3 (Table 1). Thirteen cases were infected with EV71 and 1 case was infected with Coxsackie A5.Figure 2 displays the geographical distribution of these cases according to their residence.
