June 30, 2015-- As of June 30, 2015, 3 cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications (including 2 death) have been confirmed by Taiwan CDC in 2015. These cases were all aged below 1 year old (Table 1); 2 cases caused by Coxsackie B5 and 1 case caused by Coxsackie A16. Figure 1 displays the geographical distribution of these cases according to their residence. In 2014, there were 6 cases (including 1 death) of enterovirus infection with severe complications.

No severe case was newlyconfirmed in Week 25 (June 24 to June 30, Fig. 2).
