Enterovirus Infection with Severe Complications in Taiwan - Week 13

During Week 13 (March 26 to April 1), 2017, no new severe case of enterovirus infection was confirmed (Figure 1). One enterovirus infection case with severe complications (EVSC) has been confirmed by Taiwan CDC in 2017. This case was a one-year-old boy (Table 1) and caused by Coxsackie A2.

Figure 2 displays the geographical distribution of these cases according to their residence.
