April 06, 2010--As of April 06, 2010, 2 cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications had been reported and confirmed by Taiwan CDC. These 2 confirmed cases, one had been discharged and the other was in general hospital ward. Both confirmed cases were all under 5 years old (see Table 1(pdf file)). One case was from the northern part of Taiwan, and the other was from the southern. (see Fig. 1(pdf file))

No case was newly confirmed in Week 13 (March 31 to April 6). (see Fig. 2(pdf file))
