October 26, 2010--As of October 26, 2010, 16 cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications had been reported and confirmed by Taiwan CDC. Among these 16 confirmed cases, 15 had been discharged and 1 was in ICU. These confirmed cases were all under 10 years old (see Table 1(pdf file)). Nine cases were from the northern part of Taiwan, two were from the central and five were from the southern. (see Fig. 1(pdf file))

No case was newly confirmed in Week 42 (October 20 to October 26). (see Fig. 2(pdf file))
