May 11, 2010--As of May 11, 2010, 7 cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications had been reported and confirmed by Taiwan CDC. Among these 7 confirmed cases, 6 had been discharged, 1 was in ICU. Those confirmed cases were all under 5 years old (see Table 1(pdf file)). Four cases were from the northern part of Taiwan, and three were from the southern. (see Fig. 1(pdf file))

No case was newly confirmed in Week 18 (May 5 to May 11). (see Fig. 2(pdf file))
