Due to rapidly increasing coronavirus cases in Palau, CECC raises travel notice for the country to Level 3: Warning, effective from Jan. 25


On January 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that there has been a surge in COVID-19 infections in Palau recently. Given the risk of infection to Taiwanese nationals traveling to the country, effective from January 25 the CECC will raise its travel notice for Palau to Level 3: Warning; the CECC reminds Taiwanese nationals to avoid nonessential travel to Palau. Except for foreign nationals urgently coming to Taiwan for humanitarian (medical) reasons or emergencies, all arriving travelers must abide by the quarantine measures applicable to travelers from countries under the Level 3 travel notice.
