CECC confirms 84 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 51 domestic cases and 33 imported cases


On September 5, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 84 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants; 51 of the cases are domestic and the other 33 cases are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 81 imported cases of BA.4, 694 imported cases of BA.5, and 10 imported cases of BA.2.75. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 236 confirmed domestic cases of BA.5, four confirmed domestic cases of BA.4, and no confirmed domestic cases of BA.2.75.
