CECC confirms 3 more COVID-19 cases; 3 Navy members on Dunmu Fleet confirmed to have COVID-19


On April 21, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. A total of 425 cases have been confirmed in Taiwan as of writing. Case #423 is an over 20-year-old male cadet. He had abnormal sense of smell/taste on March 30 and shared a ward room on the ship with Cases #396 and #397. After he was tested for COVID-19, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 21. Case #424 is an over 30-year-old servicewoman serving on the ship. She developed a stuffy nose, headache, dizziness and abnormal sense of smell on April 5. After she was tested for COVID-19, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 21. Case #425 is an over 20-year-old serviceman. He had a runny nose, fever and headache on March 23.  After he was tested for COVID-19, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 21.
