CECC confirms 82 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 55 domestic cases and 27 imported cases


On February 13, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 82 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 55 are domestic (33 cases of BA.2.75, 14 cases of BA.5, and eight cases of BQ.1) and the other 27 cases (10 cases of BA.2.75, five cases of BA.5, five cases of XBB, four cases of BQ.1, two cases of BF.7, and one case of BA.2) are imported. As of now, for imported cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,569 cases of BA.5, 1,035 cases of BA.2, 177 cases of BA.2.75, 158 cases of BF.7, 104 cases of BA.4, 56 cases of BQ.1, and 38 cases of XBB. Furthermore, for domestic cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,628 cases of BA.5, 2,540 cases of BA.2, 140 cases of BA.2.75, 37 cases of BQ.1, 12 cases of BF.7, five cases of XBB, and five cases of BA.4.
