CECC confirms 125 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 40 domestic cases and 85 imported cases


On January 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 125 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 40 are domestic (21 cases of BA.2.75, 14 cases of BA.5, and five cases of BQ.1) and the other 85 cases (46 cases of BA.5, 28 cases of BF.7, eight cases of BA.2.75, and three cases of BQ.1) are imported. As of now, for imported cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,551 cases of BA.5, 1,032 cases of BA.2, 162 cases of BA.2.75, 151 cases of BF.7, 104 cases of BA.4, 50 cases of BQ.1, and 32 cases of XBB. Furthermore, for domestic cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,610 cases of BA.5, 2,538 cases of BA.2, 92 cases of BA.2.75, 27 cases of BQ.1, 12 cases of BF.7, five cases of XBB, and five cases of BA.4.
